What We Offer
At Tango’s Tots we believe that young children learn and develop best through having the freedom to play and explore in an environment which is specifically set up for their age and stage of development. We have a large area for play and exploration, allowing for endless learning opportunities.
We are very proud of the education we provide at Tango’s Tots and we are particularly proud of our children’s achievements.

Opening Times
Tango’s Tots offers full day, half day and part-time options.
We are open from 06:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday.Half day collection can take place any time between 12:30 – 13:00.
Holidays & December
We’re open all year round except for public holidays & December school holidays.
Dates will be notified in March of each year. We will always close on the working day following or preceding a public holiday if it falls on a Tuesday or Thursday
Meal Times & Plans
We offer a well balanced nutritious menu and make every effort to ensure good eating habits and we encourage the children to try a variety of different foods.
We do cater for children with allergies. Depending on the child’s allergy we may ask parents to provide one or two groceries.
Discuss any allergies in more detail with our school manager.
- Breakfast is served at 8am. (Must be at school by 7:50am)
- Lunch is served 12pm.
- Snacks are served at 10am, 3pm and 4:30pm.
Parents need to serve breakfast at home if arriving after 7:50am.
Optional Extra Mural
We believe strongly that our staff are qualified to offer activities and opportunities for learning within the education program. It is for this reason that we are selective about who we invite into our school to offer extramural activities.
There are many extramural activities on offer in our community, but we feel it is not necessary to overload our parents budgets with unnecessary costs. More information on extramural activities is available upon request.
Transport
We can provide you with details of a reliable transport service for drop off and collection.
All transport arrangements are strictly the responsibility of the parents and Tango’s Tots has no authority over these services.
Required on a Daily Basis
All personal items, including the school bag must be labelled with your child’s name. We regret no bags with wheels are allowed at Tango’s as they damage our lockers.
- A well packed bag with a complete change of clothing.
- A packet for any soiled clothing.
- Medication if required.
Please remove medication from your child’s bag and hand to the teacher on duty for documenting.
Communication
At Tango’s Tots, we pride ourselves on maintaining open and effective communication with all our families. First and foremost, we value personal, daily interaction at drop-off and collection times, as these moments help us build strong connections with you.
Our main means of communication is WhatsApp, alongside the D6 Connect App. Through these platforms, parents can easily access important information such as school policies, family accounts, newsletters, and our school calendar, while also staying in touch with teachers during the school week.
